Interesting teaser for a fullfledged novel, especially the second track (subcontinental). Though it seems the least developed in the narrative presented so far, with light banter between dormmates, it might easily have the most potential as the plot thickens -- though perhaps a Venetian blind view would be needed for this (Ha ha!) -- and emotional intensities overtake the sophomorish aspects. Keep it up!

I totally agree with you.. the second track is what I actually want to develop but I haven't done justice too.. I need to talk to an author about how they do it.. any suggestions? who is in Delhi who does fiction of this sort? i say delhi cause of the easy access...

Dear Mahima

I came across your blog yesterday, and loved reading it. I was wondering if you could perhaps write something about www.naukriforwomen.com in your blog. My company has recently launched this website. Through Naukriforwomen, we hope to take the cause of Women Empowerment to grass root levels in our country. I request you to please consider this, since so many people follow your blog.

Thanks,
Shalini.
